• Tryout registration is now open online. Registration is NOT via Demosphere so it is important to read below about setting up a new account on PlayMetrics as you register. 

2. New Registration Technology Platform -  Introducing "PlayMetrics"

• WYSA (Wisconsin Youth Soccer Assoication) has adopted a new back-end technology platform to replace Demosphere and GotSport to be used for player and team registration and season management. To make the process of syncing our players and information from Fond du Lac to WYSA easy, the Fond du Lac Soccer Association has decided to also utilize this new tool "PlayMetrics" for our Academy and Select registration and team management. 
• The experience for families on PlayMetrics should be superior to what you experienced with Demosphere. The main benefit is that everything you need to do, will be available on the mobile app.

Registration and Account Creation Link:

• Use this link to create your new PlayMetrics account (please review the "Getting Started with PlayMetrics" document above first) - once you create your account, it will show you which tryout session your child is available to register for.
• If you are using your phone download the PlayMetrics mobile app to register. 
• You can register online via a desktop/laptop or via the PlayMetrics Mobile App (Mobile app is actually recommended). 
• The cost to register for tryouts is $20. 
• You WILL need a current photo of your child to register your child.

Please read all information for the 2024/2025 Age Group requirements to find your appropriate time to tryout. 

Each age group will have at least two tryout sessions they can attend. They do not need to attend both, but attending more than provides coaches a better chance to evaluate players. If you are not able to attend tryouts during this time frame (due to injury or being out of town) still register and note that in your registration. 

Here are an overview about Fond du Lac Phoenix Select tryouts and programs offered:

• You must attend tryouts to be considered for a Fond du Lac Phoenix select team. If you cannot attend FOR ANY REASON please notify president@fondysoccer.com right away. (But you are still required to register)
• Each session is typically 60-90 minutes long.
• The color structure of our teams are Red (top tier) and then Black. White is used only when there is a third team in an age group
• Tryout evaluations will be done by independent evaluators and Select League Phoenix Coaches. 
• Cost to register for tryouts is $20 (non-refundable)

Tryout Day:

• Arrive 25-30 minutes before your session to check in at your specified field and warm up after getting checked in. 
• Wear shin guards, cleats and bring a properly inflated ball and water bottle
• Players will receive a tryout number sticker for the tryout session
• Parents may not be on the tryout fields

Notification:

• All players will receive notification by email with an offer, alternate status, or decline.

Acceptance:

• Once you accept an offer, you must secure your roster spot by registering online.  Instructions ill be emailed to players receiving offers.
• The 2024-2025 season player pass for their new team begins on August 1, 2024 and runs until July 31, 2025.
• A player photo (for player card) must be submitted upon tryout registration.

First Date of Offers

• U11-U15: June 14, 2024 at 12pm
• U16-U19: June 21, 2024 at 12pm

You will have 72 hours upon receipt of an offer to accept.

US Soccer and WYSA base eligibility for players to play at specific age groups on calendar birth year.

Should any tryout date get canceled, make-up dates will be explored per age group and communications sent.
