The referee corner has been developed as a resource for the referees in our club. Various educational articles will be posted along with some club guidelines and recommendations on various topics such as: certification, laws of the game, etc.
For any referees that are interested in officiating games for Academy (U9 & U10) and the Select/Classic League (U11-U19) the assigning of those games are handled by a third-party assignor certified by the state. Fondy Rec League games are assigned by our local club. See more details on this page to official rec league games in Fond du Lac. For Club Soccer games, see information below:
2025 Ref Platform: - THE ASSIGNING PLATFORM IS REF INSIGHT.
This is where all assigning will take place for USSF games under the umbrella of WisRef and the WYSA. This system is replacing Game Officials. There is both a website and a mobile app you can use.

All games are at the Fond du Lac Soccer Complex and the season runs from mid-May to mid-July with two sets of weekend games. We do require our rec league referees to be certified, but referees that are not current with their certification will be allowed to referee games if no certified refs are available.
We are asking that you "register" as a ref so I know who is committed for the upcoming season. Even if you were a referee for the Fond du Lac Rec League in the past, you need to register for the 2025 season.
The Fond du Lac Soccer Association will once again be using Assignr.com as our scheduling tool (same as last year).
Steps to register to be a rec league referee for Fond du Lac Soccer:
1. Login to your account at Assignr.com. If you are a new referee, you will need to create an account.
2. If you have an established account, on the left navigation click on “Profile” and make sure all your information is up to date. If you are creating a new account, you will be asked to create a password, enter your general information (address, phone, date of birth and emergency contact).
3. To register for the 2025 Rec League Season as a Referee click on the “Registration” tab on the left navigation and complete the registration. To complete the registration, you will need to know the referee certification status, the oldest age group the ref is willing to officiate, and their referee experience.
For all refs make sure to bring all the right equipment, dress appropriately. and be confident in yourself. When referees arrive at the Fond du Lac Soccer Complex for a Rec League game, please check-in at the concession stand prior to your first game at least 20 minutes prior to your game. If you do not check in at least 10 minutes prior to your game, that match may be assigned to another ref. You will get paid for all the games you are working that day.
Make sure to have the following items when you arrive:
Current Rec League Pay per Game for Soccer Officials who hold a current certification
U9/U10 Game: $15/Game Each (2 Refs)
U12 Game: $20/Game Each (2 Refs)
U14 Game: $30/Game Each (2 Refs)

All games are assigned via assignr.com
