National Exchange Bank Foundation Inc. recently earned naming right of the Fond du Lac Soccer Association’s (FDLSA) concession stand for a sizeable donation to upgrade and expand its concessions building. While planning is still early, the expansion is expected to increase the square footage and at least double the number of serving windows. FDLSA hopes to complete this work by Spring 2019. National Exchange Foundation Inc. will hold naming rights for the next 10 years.
"We are incredibly humbled by the support received from National Exchange Bank Foundation Inc., and cannot thank them enough for their generous donation," commented FDLSA President Chad Collett. "We now have more than 1,700 players in various soccer leagues at our complex, a significant increase over the last 10 years. Every year, it has become increasingly evident that the concessions area is not large enough to meet demand - especially during tournaments. As a result of this donation, we can expand our concessions building and better serve the guests to our complex."
The Fond du Lac Soccer Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers soccer programs to more than 1,700 players. Founded in 1974, FDLSA now includes 120 recreational, 14 competitive league, and 12 adult league teams, as well as an academy program to develop players transitioning from recreational to select teams. The club maintains a 30+ field, 53-acre complex without additional support from government or school resources.
